It All Goes South

It all goes south, when you do the math
so don’t try go figure it out, if the answer is right in front of you, but belongs to a question you never dare to ask

It all goes south, when you turn your back
on the ones that love and respect you, even through great difficult times, like the ones you’ve had in your past

It all goes south, look at your blue compass
it’s not a trick question you won’t pass, it’s just a matter of choices and an easy class, simply 'cause if you lead, you won’t be the last

It all goes south, if you can’t face the north
remember when you were a child and you played sport and your parents gave you a whole lot of support

It all goes south, if you go forth
simply 'cause life is a game, and the path in front of you is sore, if you keep on searching for a kind of love that isn’t yours

It all goes south, look at your blue compass
it’s not a trick question you won’t pass, it’s just a matter of choices and an easy class, simply 'cause if you lead, you won’t be the last

It all goes south, if you don’t realize
that emptiness will follow, if you can’t look your partner in the eyes and compliment the love of your life

It all goes south, when you look at the times
simply because the end of the world will not be the day you hide, it will be the day you eventually die, in grime
