Valentine's Day

Had I known you were sitting alone at home since the last one that left you
Waiting for your knight in shining armour to come to your rescue
Had I known you were waiting for him to ride in on a white horse on Valentine’s day
with a bouquet of roses in his hand a good heart and manners in a fine way
Had I known any of this, had I known there was a fairy tale to tell
I’d have brought the knight, the bouquet of roses and the horse to you myself
But I didn’t know, and I’m sorry you had to be alone on a day like this
I’m sorry I’m not your knight in shining armour, and you don’t want my kiss
